The video is about the say or views of African Americans on how others see or
perceive their language skills. They shared how African American English is being
treated in the society because of how they speak and their choice of words. Speaker
three defended their side that it is how they present and express their selves in a
unique way. In able for them to fit in society, they have to speak articulately to be
seen as educated people.

According to the speakers in the video, African American English is unique and
may sound a bit informal in the sense that others may misunderstand their
intentions. It is often deemed as grammatically incorrect because of how they use a
lot of slang words.
