The last few decades have seen enormous changes in the way people`s lives are
influenced by Social media. Many commentators are of the view that making
communication by using internet brings lot of blessings for society, whereas others
feel that it creates huge problems in terms of maintaining proper relationships.
From my perspectives, maintaining social relationship by using internet brings lots
of negativity in people`s private and social life.
Generally speaking, there are a wide variety of problems which is the outcome of
being socializing via internet. The primary concern for supporting this idea is that
people are being victim of fake and unethical relationships. In a recent statistical
survey which is published by guardian online shows that almost 63% of user does
not show their real identity when they are creating a virtual identity in online
platforms.as a result of using this kind of biography it is quite common to show
fraudulent behavior because people do not have to think about the consequence of
their wrong doings.
Another reason to support this argument is that people are losing their true friends
as they do not willful to maintain emotional and face to face communications. I
someone do not meet with their close person occasionally, it will create a distance
which makes relationship more vulnerable.
A further argument in support of this idea is that criminal offense is increasing
severely in the society because majority of the time authorities are fail to control
social media activities. People are being victims of sexual harassment and online
bullying. The more people are using virtual platforms, the more adult contents are
available to them as many companies deliberately put it to their profile links.
In conclusion, making virtual relationship is an issue which is very relevant to our
modern society. However, I strongly believe that it brings more negative
developments than positive outcomes toward society. If government is fail to
control proper use of social media, society will face severe negative consequences
of it.
