We are looking for a Head of HR Department to join our team


supporting the day-to-day activities. You should have solid
organizational skills being familiar with HR functions ensuring to
run all Human Resource operations smoothly. The ideal
candidate should have sound knowledge on Manpower
Planning, Recruitment, Performance, Management, Analysis
of Employee Efficiency, Man power Turnover, Preparation of
Employee Job Description & KPI etc.
Job Description
• Ensure all administrative tasks are running smoothly
• Gather Payroll data like Bank accounts and working days
• Schedule Job Interviews & contact candidates as required
• Preparing & Drafting various types of HR related letters &
notices.
• Develop training materials
• Communicate and respond to questions of employees
about benefits (like number of vacation days etc.)
• Ensure employees are working in accordance to company
policy, doing work efficiently.
• Ensure quality of work is maintained
• Implementing Growth Strategies
• Recruiting employees
• Evaluating Performance & Productivity
• Generating reports & giving presentations
• Able to manage Departmental activities efficiently
• Dealing with email enquiries, communicating with foreign
and local clients
• Providing Administration support to all managers
• Prepare warning letter, office note, memo etc.
• Improving Revenue
Job Specification
• Age 30 to 50 years
• Candidates should have minimum 5-10 years of experience
in Human Resource Management, Corporate Business,
Projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, oral and writing
skills
• Work Experience as an HR & Admin Officer, HR Assistant
or similar role, etc.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools, Excel, HRIS Software.
• Knowledge of Labor Legislation
• Good knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and 2013
is a must
• Travelling to foreign countries for meetings will be
necessary.
• Ability and desire to work remotely given the Covid-19
situation with a suitable setup from which to work.

Educational Requirements
The candidate should have a Master's degree in Human
Resource Management. However, with good experience along
with Interview results, a Bachelor's Degree might be accepted.

Salary
Tk 90,000-2,00,00 (Monthly)

of human resources management. Precisely how does it

Answer.1:
Job Analysis support managers making pay decisions by
providing accurate information about job positions in the
organization. For example, in Jamuna Oil Company Ltd. there
are employees working in various job positions. By performing
a proper Job Analysis, the similarities and differences in the
content of the job will be highlighted properly, providing a
good basis of differences in pay structure of various positions.
When the Job Description, Skill requirements, Job
Responsibilities are highlighted properly, then a fair pay
structure can be decided accordingly which is well accepted
and understood by the organizational employees, in addition to
that it also determines the level of compensation which is
required to motivate and retain an employee to a certain job
position, for example when it comes to the position of Head of
HR in Jamuna Oil Company Ltd., based on the skills, experience
and responsibilities required, a fair pay can be set which will
encourage skilled candidates to apply for the job and hold on
to it, along with that a good job analysis with proper
description will give them a clear picture on what they need to
work on and what is the Company seeking.
In Jamuna Oil Company, the understanding of the role of each
and every employee will influence the Return on Investment.
Having a qualified Head of HR is also crucial to ensure the
departmental activities running smoothly. Therefore, without a
proper Job Analysis, it will be hard to get a skilled candidate
who is fit for this position, at the same time it is important to
mention the responsibilities clearly so that later the employee
cannot make excuses or create an unpleasant situation
regarding work, due to which everything should be stated
transparently and responsibly. It will also assist the Managers
to facilitate a purposeful interview with proper selection
placement & orientation and they will also be able to defend
their pay decisions if and when challenged by the Head of HR.

The purpose of Job Analysis for the position of Head of HR in


Jamuna Oil company is to establish similarities and differences
in the work content of the jobs, it will establish a fair job
structure along with promoting proper publicity of the post
attracting suitable candidates fit for this position thereby
which purposeful interview will be facilitated.
The Organizational Chart of Jamuna Oil Company will be
reviewed in order to analyze the business function as a whole
along with employee structure, operating processes, when it is
determined what type of company it is and what particular
skills and qualities are required for the position, then a proper
job analysis can be done. A proper chart will also depict a
diagram of employee positions showing who works where, for
whom and in that way a clear picture will be received on who
to hire, why, what benefits/problems might this create, who
will he/she work with and how. It will answer a lot of relevant
questions before performing a good job analysis.

Jamuna Oil Company Ltd will be wasting a lot of time and


resources by trying to analyze all jobs at a time which is
complex, due to which it will select only a representative
sample of jobs for the purpose of detailed analysis.
Determining the purpose for which the job must be analyzed is
a crucial step here.

In this step, obtaining data and relevant information related to


the position of Head of HR is important. Data can be collected
either through questionnaire, interviews or observations.
Important information needs to be collected on Job activities,
employee behavior, working conditions, human psychology,
traits and quality.
Now, a Job Description & Job Specification is developed
through the information collected above, for the Head of HR
position the characteristics of job along with responsibilities,
location, salary, minimum requirement (who are eligible to
apply), skills, knowledge and background required to perform
specific tasks, everything will be mentioned.
