The ad is relatable as it shows how a young girl could not celebrate her birthday because of
the virus. Many of us could not celebrate our birthdays this year and it also shows the
unavailability of dine-ins which we experienced this year. So, the ad is relatable.
The ad adds in to the curiosity because the viewers start thinking about what will the staff do
to make Sara's birthday special.
They have shown a kind gesture of trying to fulfil the void of Sara's uncelebrated birthday.
They have shown the emotional perspective of a mother that how she gets worried about her
daughter's happiness.
Slide-3.
The advertisement is all about how McDonalds care about its customers and how the
pandemic of covid-19 has affected the company as they can't offer dine-ins anymore and how
it has had an effect on the customers as they can't celebrate their occasions anymore either.
The ad also shows how McDonalds has loyal customers who consider McDonalds for their
celebrations every time. It also shows how McDonalds cares about the small things about
their customers and puts in effort to make them happy.
Slide-4.
The ad is targeting parents and children by ensuring them that McDonalds is still providing
the same quality of customer care and products while following the SOP's.

The ad gives us information about how McDonalds treats its customers and how McDonalds
understands our needs and emotions in the tough times of corona.

The ad convinced me by making me comfortable in dealing with McDonalds as they have
shown how friendly and understanding their staff is and how they care about their customers.
Moreover, how they are taking all the precautions during the pandemic.

The have made the name of McDonalds by repeatedly showing the building, logo and the
order process along with employees dressed in the uniform in the ad because they wanted to
shpw us about how they are managing in the pandemic.

The images used in the ad were their buildings, uniforms, items, products and the order
processing.

They left out the menu details and details about their products as the ad was focused on
ensuring the customers about McDonalds taking precautions during corona and standing with
us in the tough time, not the products to be specific.
Slide-10.
I would rate this ad a 9 out of 10 and it caught my attention because i could relate to it as I
was not able to celebrate my birthday this year either.
Slide-11.
I would change the repetition of scenes in the ad and i would also avoid gathering a crowd in
the last scenes because of corona.
Slide-12.
Yes, the timing of the ad is perfect as everyone could relate to it because all of us are in the
lockdown and it was released in the months when the birthday season was on peak.
