FITNESS PROGRAM

TASK: Diseño un programa fitness para la EMSUB

Para el diseño del programa fitness se deben pensar e incluir: Activities and special issues:
4 actividades y especificaciones especiales sobre el programa (por ejemplo: alimentación
What kind of food do they have to eat?) place: lugar en donde se desarrollarían las
actividades, time: momento y frecuencia en el que se desarrollara el programa y las
actividades del mismo (When do people do these activities? How often do they do them?) ,
people: especificar la población para la que se encuentra dirigido el programa (Who is it
for, and why?)

Useful vocabulary about fitness

 fitness is shortened to fit: A person who has strong muscles and little fat on his or
her body is called fit.
 Good shape: A healthy person who is fit is said to be in good shape
 Bad shape: someone who gets out of breath running up the stairs might admit to
being in bad shape. Once they start exercising, they are working on getting back
into shape.
 Workout: which basically means physical training or to exercise.
 Toned: is a more formal way to describe someone as muscular.
 Reps: Reps is just short for the word repeat
 take a break: it means to stop what you are doing and get relaxed
 Sets: Sets just means group.
 Warm ups: At the beginning of your workout, you do stretching exercises to
loosen tight muscles.
