BDO Enrollment Guidelines

ELECTRONIC CHANNELS (BDO Online Banking, BDO Mobile Banking, ATM)

A. How to Enroll:
1. Go to https://online.bdo.com.ph and log in to your account.
2. Go to Enrollment Services, Company/ Biller, then Enroll.
3. On Company/ Biller Name, select the mutual fund you wish to invest in. Make sure to
choose the correct mutual fund you wish to enroll. Please refer to table below:

4. On the Subscriber Number field, input the corresponding mutual fund account number to
be enrolled.

5. Input Subscriber Name and Preferred Nickname.


6. Tick Bills Payment channels for enrollment.
7. Click Submit.
8. Your mutual fund account number will soon reflect on your list of billers. Start investing
today!

B. How to Pay:

Via BDO Online Banking


1. Go to https://online.bdo.com.ph and log in to your account.
2. Go to Financial Services, Bills Payment, Pay Bills.
3. Once in the Payment page, input the following:
a. Pay from – select the account from which the payment will be debited
b. Pay this Company/ Biller – select biller (along with the corresponding mutual fund
account details and sales load, i.e. front-end/ FE or back-end/ BE)
c. Amount – indicate amount to be paid
d. Remarks (optional)
4. Review transaction details and click Submit.
5. Await your transaction confirmation. Congratulations on your investment!

Via BDO Mobile Banking


1. Launch your BDO Mobile Banking application and log in to your account.
2. Click Pay Bills.
3. In the Pay Bills page, input the following:
a. Pay from – select the account from which the payment will be debited
b. Pay this Company/ Biller – select biller (along with the corresponding mutual fund
account details and sales load, i.e. front-end/ FE or back-end/ BE)
c. Amount – indicate amount to be paid
d. Remarks (optional)
4. Click Continue.
5. Await your transaction confirmation. Congratulations on your investment!

Via BDO ATM


1. Insert your debit card in the ATM, then remove the card once prompted.
2. Select Bills Payment.
3. Select the type of account from which the payment will be debited.
4. Select Enrolled Accounts.
5. Select the subscriber number to be paid.
6. Enter the amount to be paid.
7. The “Print receipt” option will be displayed. Select either Yes or No.
8. Enter your PIN and press Confirm.
9. Await your transaction confirmation. Congratulations on your investment!

Important Reminders:
 You must be enrolled in BDO Online Banking to be able to use Bills Payment via Electronic Banking
Channels.
 The minimum investment amount accepted by the bank’s system is Php10,000 for the World
Equity Index Feeder Fund. Any amount below Php10,000 will prompt an “Error” message.
 Minimum initial investment for the World Equity Index Feeder Fund is Php50,000.

OVER-THE-COUNTER

1. Visit any BDO branch and fill out a Cash Transaction Slip or Check Transaction Slip (sample
attached). Select Bills Payment.
2. On the Company Name field, indicate the complete Biller Name of the mutual fund you
wish to invest in. Please refer to the table below:

1. Leave Institution Code/ Product Code blank.


2. Write your name on Subscriber’s Name.
3. On the Subscriber’s Account No. field, write the mutual fund client account number and
the appropriate prefix for your preferred sales load.

4. On the Currency field, select Peso.


5. Indicate the Transaction Date.
6. For cash payments, list the cash breakdown on Cash Payment Breakdown.
7. For check payments, write the check details on Check Payment Breakdown.
8. Payment slips must be accomplished in duplicate copies, with one copy to be retained by
BDO.
9. Await your transaction confirmation. Congratulations on your investment!

Important Reminder: The minimum investment amount for OTC payments is Php10,000 for the
World Equity Index Feeder Fund. Minimum initial investment for the World Equity Index Feeder Fund
is Php 50,000.

FREQUENTLY ASK ED QUESTIONS

1. Who may invest via Bills Payment?


Existing SLAMCI clients can make additional investments in the Sun Life Prosperity World Equity
Index Feeder Fund through Bills Payment. Standard SLAMCI terms and conditions apply.

2. Is the World Equity Index Feeder Fund available via Bills Payment?
Yes. The World Equity Index Feeder Fund is available via Bills Payment under these biller names:

3. What is a Sales Load?


There are two types of Sales Loads for the Funds:

a. Front-End (Option A): If you invest under this option, a sales charge not exceeding 2% of
the total transaction will be deducted from the investment amount. Shares may be redeemed
free of charge at any time, unless the Fund has a prescribed holding period.

b. Back-End (Option B): The full transaction amount will be invested upfront and no sales
charge will be deducted. Instead, SLAMCI will collect a Deferred Sales Charge (DSC) plus VAT
if the investment, or a portion thereof, is redeemed, within five (5) years.

4. How do I choose a sales load if I am transacting via Bills Payment?


Indicate the relevant prefix to your SLAMCI Mutual Fund Client Account Number when asked for
the Subscriber Number. The regular format of a SLAMCI MF account number is:
12345678CF01.

- To choose Front-End Load, use the prefix “FE” , followed by the 12-digit account number.
Ex. FE12345678CF01
- To choose Back-End Load, use the prefix “BE” , followed by the 12-digit account number.
Ex. BE12345678CF01

BDO will not process transactions with the incorrect Subscriber Number format.

5. What NAVPU will apply to my investment?


If the payment against cleared funds falls within BDO’s cut-off time, the applicable NAVPU
computed the next business day shall be applied. All transactions made after BDO’s cut-off time
will be considered by BDO as transactions for the next banking day.

Electronic Banking Channels – 10:00 PM
Over-the-Counter - Branch operating hours

6. How come the same NAVPU will apply to my investment regardless if I pay bef ore or after
the cutoff time of SLAMCI?
Bills payment transactions shall follow the bank’s cutoff time. Payments coursed through SLAMCI
Bills Payment with BDO will be posted/credited to SLAMCI on the following business day, as long
as it falls within the bank’s cutoff time, thus the transaction date + 1 business day (T+1)
turnaround time. If you prefer a more immediate posting of payment for your investment, you
may choose other modes of payment available through Sun Life Client Service Centers or SLAMCI
online channels.

7. What is the minimum amount accepted for Bills Payment?

For the World Equity Index Feeder Fund


BDO Online Banking, BDO Mobile Banking, ATM Php10,000
Branch Banking (Over-the-Counter) Php10,000

OTC transactions are now free of charge.

Minimum initial investment for the Fund is Php 50,000.

8. Do I need to submit a proof of payment?


No. When you make a transaction via Bills Payment, no additional proof of payment or form
needs to be submitted.

SLAMCI will automatically reject My Sun Life Client Portal and Sun Life PH Mobile App
transactions for additional investments with a Bills Payment confirmation receipt attached as
proof of payment. However, the underlying Bills Payment transaction will be processed as is.

9. Do I need to have an account with the BDO to make a transaction?


Bills Payment via electronic channels is open only to BDO accountholders. If you are not an
accountholder, you may still invest through Bills Payment via an over-the-counter transaction.
