Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) is a medical aid organization, our mission is to improve access to
quality health care for all people in Myanmar. MAM provides large-scale access to prevention,
diagnosis & treatment of HIV, Malaria, Tuberculosis and we provide Basic Health Care. We support
over 1700 volunteer Village Health Workers in diagnostic testing and supply them with diagnostics
and treatments. A basic health care package is provided to deal with the most common diseases,
including a referral system for complicated cases. Furthermore, we do screening, referrals of
suspected TB cases and treatment follow-up of confirmed TB cases and provide Maternal, New-born
and Child Health services. In terms of HIV prevention and treatment activities, MAM is running 12
HIV clinics in Yangon, Karen, Mon and Kachin states. MAM employs over 850 staff in Myanmar.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Project Medical Coordinator (Field Supervisor) for
rickets project of Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) in Nanyun Township, Naga Area, Sagaing.

• To represent the project at the local level and to build strong relationship with the township health
departments and general administrative departments.
• To prepare the project reports in a defined time frame.
• To advise the research coordinator concerning implementation of the project.
• To perform any other tasks as required or as assigned by supervisors.
MAM requires:
To be successful in this role you must have/be:
Education : Medical doctor degree (with SAMA)
Experience : At least 2 years of professional working experience in implementation of health-related
humanitarian project related to nutrition and child health.
Experience in research and conducting survey.
Language : Fluent in English, Myanmar.
Specifications : Willing to travel in remote areas under difficult circumstances (motorbikes, foot).
Good commend of Microsoft offices and analysis using Microsoft excel.
Firm, flexible, open and decisive.
Hard working, accept flexible hours and able to work independently.
MAM offers:
• Salary ranges from 1,100,000 to 1,300,000 MMK per month (on a 12 months basis);
• Hardship allowance;
