Oh peace, where art thou?

We are the children of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
With joyful and grateful hearts, we bow.
Listen, let our voices be heard now!
We will serve and protect this nation anyhow,
and uphold the Constitution to which we avow.
We are this generation's carabao,
persevering through the sweat of our brow.
We are today's brave tamaraw,
invaders and violators, we won't allow.
This is our loyalty, love, and vow
We will see a better future, somehow.
