Hello, I am a farming enthusiast who never ventured in to farming. As it is there in my

blood (all my forefathers were farmers, and my childhood memories are that of spending
time in the paddy elds), I am looking at farming as a pass-time and a way to earn my living
after my retirement.
1. Is there an update on this report?
2. Is it possible to get a soft copy of this report to the mail id given below?
3. What are the botanical names of popular species of ginger mentioned in the report
(Suprabha, Suruchi, Suravi, Himgiri, Mahima, Rejatha, Karthika, Athira, Aswathy, etc)
4. Which of the above is ‘the best’ in terms of product quality, demand/market value, yield per
unit area of farming, shelf life, etc.
5. Which species has better acceptability in the international market?
6. Is there any consultancy services/organisation available for advising new farmers?
6.
