2.0 RESPONSIBLITIES

- Anyone working in testing location during commission stage must follow the safety
requirements as per SEC rules and CSD employees are responsible for applying
safety rules in all places which they working in.
- Project site engineer is responsible for committing the contractor to prepare testing
and commissioning places to be done in proper climate conditions as per Company
policies, procedures and accepted temperatures the relays, devices and test
equipment can be tested or operated within it.
- Any of CSD staff is responsible for testing activities according to approved
specification and design and he shall not start any test for any Relay & Control
Panels Scheme and Function check until providing the following:

o Approved test forms.


o Signed test formats of all activities which must be completed before Relay &
Control Panels Scheme and Function check Factory Tests certificates.
o Updated Approved final settings.
o All relays must be configured.
o Relay manual.
o Approved schematic drawings.
o Protection requirement.
o Test equipment valid calibration certificates.
o Approved Contractor organization chart.
o Contractor staff approved qualification certificates.

- Its responsibility of the commissioning contractors to provide all testing Relay &
Control Panels Scheme and Function check with its valid calibration certificates
that will maybe require applying the testing / commissioning procedure in proper
manner.
- Its responsibility of the CSD Engineer/Technician to check and witness all activities
required for Relay & Control Panels Scheme and Function check following all of
this work instruction.
- CSD Engineer/Technician is responsible for recording status of any test for Relay &
Control Panels Scheme and Function check in its check list and test form as per
the following work instruction.
- Each check list and test form shall be signed by CSD engineer/technician and
testing contractor engineer.

The commands have to be checked for the possible modes
(Local, Emergency & Remote.). Local operation mode at the relay
display can be selected by selector button on the relay display.

the local mode. Remote mode at SAS at the relay display can be
selected by selector button on the relay display. Every switching
