CALL REPORT
I. HIGHLIGHTS OF CALL:
The AO conducted the client call to discuss the status of loan application of DASURECO with the
bank. It was conducted via Zoom (virtual meeting) due to pandemic in order to observe the
minimum health protocol mandated by local government. This was also the opportunity of the
AO to introduce himself as the new Officer assigned to handle their accounts.
Finance Manager Rosario disclosed that the impact of Covid-19 pandemic have slightly affected
their operation in terms of collection which led to lower growth rate in revenue when DASURECO
have observed the mandatory implementation of grace period for the payment of bills due and
initiated the “No Disconnection Policy” covering the period from April 2020 to August 2020. She
added that the aftermath of this crisis have caused operational damage and unemployment due
to some small establishments in Davao del Sur have ceased their business operations. But Ms.
Rosario emphasize that the payment and other liabilities intended for suppliers was not.
AO Wong has presented a credit facility with its salient features that amenable to the immediate
credit needs of DASURECO. It has been mentioned that DASURECO’s ERC application for Final
Approval of CAPEX projects for the period of 2019-2021 is still pending as of this date.
Finance Manager Rosario welcomed the proposal of AO Wong and committed to disseminate it
to the Board of Director’s Monthly Meeting scheduled on the 2 nd week of January 2021 for
thorough deliberation and approval. She advised also to submit a written offer letter to be
presented to the Board.
Meeting was adjourned by thanking DASURECO represented by Finance Manager Rosario and
will coordinate closely to the approval of top management and monitor the submission of lacking
requirements.
