Questions for teachers

1. There is more and more talk about the concept of inclusive education.
Do you think that current educational policies find an echo in the reality of current
education?
2. From your experience, do you consider it possible to integrate children with
disabilities into mainstream education, so that they can develop according to their
needs, interests and skills? If not, what is missing?
3. Do you think that teachers need special training to teach in a classroom where there
are children with Special Educational Requirements? Would this influence the
approach / best practices?
4. Are there specialized staff to support these children in the activities in the school
where you work? If not, do you consider this an priority in an inclusive school?
5. One of the key elements of a successful integration of the child with learning
difficulties within the school group is the efficient communication between teachers
and parents. Are you satisfied with the relationship you have with the children's
parents?
6. Do schools represent the place where children interact, where they develop their
social and emotional skills? How exactly have children with Special Educational
Requirements been affected by the transition to online education? What were the
challenges you faced?
7. What would inclusive education look like in an ideal society? If you had the
opportunity to intervene at the decision-making level, what would you change?
