Disconnect the RTC battery cable ftom PJT02 on the sound board, 3.Lift out the RTC battery. Disconned the sound cable fiom PJT00 on the sound board 3, Remove the following seven eerewe securing the heat sink, system board and PC card slot cover - 2 M2.5x4 flat head brass screws. - 3 NB.5x4 brass screws: - 3 NB.5x6 brass screw Lift ouf the heat sink duet and remove the eat eink by unlatching the heat sink holder fiom the tab ofthe CPU socket RTC battery cable SENSOR AND SOUND BOARD REMOVAL M2.Sx4 brass screw 1. Disconnect the sound cable from P.J700 on the ‘sound board 2, Remove one M2.5x4 brass screw securing the sound board 3. Lift up the eound board, PC card ot cover System board Ba cable 5. Lift out the system board fom the front end and remove the PC card slot cover 6. Disconnectthe following cables from the system board: - HDD battery cable fromPJ300 - Battery power cable from P1501 - Sound cable from P4302 TOSHIBA Tough Enough for Todays World. Thete ate 22 latehes securing the display mask to left then disconnect the FL inwester cable trom Carefuly insert your fngers between the display mask and 1 andthe HV cable from CN2 the LED module and pry openthe latches starting from the 3. Remove four N@.5x6 brass screws securing the ‘top six latches, to the five latches on the right LCD module. and left sides, ending wth the six bottomlatches. 4, Carefully rotate the LCD module fom right to left ofthe LCD cover. §.
