You are required to participate in a group discussion on an assigned topic. Read the following
discussion topic and carry out the task. You will be assessed on your performance in the
discussion.

Discussion Topic

Being committed to an organisation is important. Many employers believe that when

employees are committed, the organisation will benefit from higher customer
satisfaction levels, improved productivity, and greater profits.

Task

In a group, discuss:
a. your response to this statement.
b. what employers can do to ensure employees are committed to their jobs.
