Identify the internal and external factors which contributed to the honing

of Rizal’s perceptions of life and worldviews based from his early

childhood experiences.

The internal and external factors which contributed to the honinf of

Rizal’s perception of life and worldviews is his love for the arts and literature.

This things help him to change his perception in life. For the external factor is

that Rizal is one of the few Filipinos that were privileged enough to be

educated. His family has a huge library which really equipped Rizal to be an

outstanding student that he was. Also, Teodora was also one of the intelligent

women back then because she was one of the few who graduated or who had

the chance to attain education. His mother taught him a lot of things which

really gave out the foundation of Rizal’s genius, and lastly the execution of

GomBurZa. Because his original plan back then was to take up priesthood

and become a Jesuit father. When he heard of the martyrdom of GomBurZa,

he changed his mind and swore to dedicate his life to vindicate the victims of

Spanish oppression.
What specific “moral values” could you infer of Rizal and explain how

such values were developed by him.

The Specific “moral values” I could infer of Rizal is Love, Passion, and

Patriotism. The way he used his intelligence and woke mentality to achieve

equal rights for Filipinos which actually bore to inspire Filipino heroes to start

fighting for what they own which is our freedom. He used his brilliance and

maximized it to be helpful. The video was telling us that no matter how far

we’ve come after we’ve reached our goals by which we surrounded ourselves

with pillars to reach these goals, we should therefore not forget to help for the

common good of society. It made me realize that the opportunity to one day

serve the Filipino people is should actually be a dream for me.

In what manner that Rizal was reared by his parents and other

significant people? Expound your opinions with such parenting and

mentoring styles which Rizal received from these individuals during the

19th century?

Rizal was raised as a devout Roman Catholic. As was the Filipino

custom of the day, the boy was first educated in the family home by his

mother, who, although loving, was strict and carefully cultivated her son’s

many talents, instilling in him a deep love for his homeland and a profound

sense of dedication to the country. He learned to read, and consequently to

value reading as a means for learning and spending one’s time

meaningfully. It did not take long before he learnt to value time as life’s most

precious gift, for she taught him never to waste a single second of it. The

tough love of his mother is one of the foundation oh why Rizal is like that.
