TITLE: Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is a children’s book written by Charles Dodgson and Lewis Caroll. It tells the

story of a little girl named Alice, who is feeling bored and drowsy while sitting on the riverbank with

her older sister, who is reading a book with no pictures or conversations. Suddenly, she notices a

white rabbit walking past her wearing a waistcoat and pocket watch. All of a sudden, she falls into

a rabbit hole which is a fantasy world populated by many creatures which has the human characters

such as the caterpillar, the Cheshire cat and the King of Hearts. The tale plays with logic, giving the

story lasting popularity with adults as well as children. It is considered to be the best examples of the

literary nonsense genre. Its narrative course and structure, characters and imagery have been

enormously influential in both popular culture, literature and in the fantasy genre. Alice’s

Adventures in Wonderland takes place in Alice’ s dream and characters and phenomena of the real

world mixed with Alice’s unconscious state.
