    SCRIPT FOR THE EMCEE

    DAY 1
    INTRO:
    Emcee: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY-ICT
    Truly that ICT in education improves engagement and knowledge retention: When ICT is
    integrated into lessons, students become more engaged in their work. This is because technology
    provides different opportunities to make it more fun and enjoyable in terms of  teaching the same
    things in different ways.
    Emcee: A pleasant day to you all my fellow teachers, and welcome to our 5-day In-Service
    Training for Teachers
    With the topics: SCHOOL-BASED TRAINING WORKSHOPS ON:
    -DIFFERENT ONLINE PLATFORMS NEEDED IN DISTANCE LEARNING
    -LAY-OUTING AND VIDEO LESSONS DESIGNING AND
    -FUN AND INTERACTIVE GAMES THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

    *PRAYER AND NATIONAL ANTHEM


    Emcee: To formally start our program may I invite everyone to please stand for our opening
    prayer and remain standing for the singing of our national anthem “Lupang Hinirang”.
    Emcee: Thank you, you may now take your seats.

    *OPENING REMARKS
    Emcee: To formally open this training-workshop, I would like to acknowledge the presence
    of our energetic and supportive principal Mam Zenaida D. Quiambao and our beloved PSDS
    in Cluster 1 Mam Ana Merla D. Magtoto.
    Emcee: Thank you for being with us this fourth day of our JPDES Virtual INSET

    *ROLL CALL/ENERGIZER
    Emcee: To energize us and make a roll call to our participants, I would like to request Mam
    Fatima Nuqui for the roll call
    Roll call/energizer will be done…
    Emcee: Thank you Fatima, that was really an energizer.

    *TRAINING WORKSHOP PROPER/INTRODUCTION OF THE SPEAKERS


    Emcee: I know you are all excited to start our training, so without much saying I will
    introduce to you our first speaker.
    FIRST SPEAKER (Mam Jenny R. Bondoc)
    Emcee: Our first speaker for today but definitely not the least, the chairman of SBM
    Principle 1, co-coordinator of GSP, English Coordinator in Primary Level and the adviser of
    Grade Three-Acacia , let’s welcome Ma’am Jenny R. Bondoc.
    Emcee: Her topic will be the “IMPORTANCE OF Game Based Learning in Modern Educatio
    using Technology”
    Ma’am Jenny will discuss her topic…

    SECOND SPEAKER (9:20-10:00-MA’AM Socel)


    Emcee: Our second speaker is one of the active GSP Troop Leader, our ESP and WINS
    coordinator, energetic sports coach and project play leader of our school, let’s welcome
    Ma’am Socel P. Castro.
    Emcee: Her topic will be the “What can we learn from playing interactive games?”
    Ma’am Socel will discuss her topic.

    THIRD SPEAKER (10:15-11:00-MA’AM Jane)
    Emcee: Our third speaker is the active coordinator of GSP in our school, one of the
    chairman in SBM under Principle 4, she is also the English coordinator and the adviser of
    Grade 5, let’s welcome Ma’am Mary Jane S. Baquing.
    Emcee: Her topic will be the “How to create an interactive and effective fun interactive
    game using PowerPoint presentation”
    Ma’am Jane will discuss her topic…

    FOURTH SPEAKER (11:00-11:45-Sir Ric)


    Emcee: Our last speaker for today is our SDRRM Coordinator, School inspectorate team
    Leader, School Task Force Team Leader, TLE Coordinator, BSP co-coordinator and sports
    coach leader and the TLE/EPP teacher in Grade five and six, let’s welcome Sir Ricardo T.
    Martin
    Emcee: His topic will be the “How to download Interactive Games Through Online”
    Sir Ric will discuss his topic…
    Emcee: To all the resource speakers who have shared their knowledge and expertise for
    today’s training, I would like to thank you all, and to all our dear participants, our fellow
    teachers, thank you for listening, I hope you have learned and enjoyed the day 4 of our
    training.
    Give reminders for the next day’s training:
    -8:00 tomorrow for the awarding of certificates and presentation of final output per grade
    level by adding some applications you have learned from the topics that was discussed for
    today. Link for last day Virtual Inset will be posted on our group. Thank you and God bless.
