A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CPP-NPA-NDF AS PERSONA NON GRATA

AT BARANGAY 905, ZONE 100, DISTRICT 6, MANILA

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay commonly known as the Barangay

Council, is the legislative body of a Barangay organized in
accordance with the pertinent provisions of Section 447 of Republic
Act 7160, otherwise known as Local Government Code of 1991,
empowered to enact ordinances, approve resolutions and
appropriate funds for the general welfare of the Barangay and its
inhabitants in pursuant with the welfare clause under Section 16 of
the same Republic Act No. 7160;

WHEREAS, Section 47 paragraph 1(ii) of the same Republic Act No. 7160,
empowered the Sangguniang Barangay to enact, and approve
ordinances, pass resolutions necessary for an efficient and effective
government and in this connection shall “Maintain peace and order
by enacting measures to prevent and suppress lawlessness, disorder,
riot, violence, rebellion or sedition and impose penalties for the
violation of the said ordinance;

WHEREAS, to maintain peace and order in Barangay 905, Zone 100, District 6,
Manila, the Sangguniang Barangay hereby approve the immediate
adoption of a resolution denouncing the atrocities/abuses of CPP-
NPA-NDF as urgent and in order.

NOW THEREFORE, the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay 905, Zone 100,

District 6, Manila, in regular session assembled:

RESOLVED, that the resolution declaring the CPP-NPA-NDF as PERSONA NON

GRATA is hereby adopted;

Let copy of this Resolution is furnished the Sta. Ana Police Station, MPD and all other
offices/departments concerned for their information, guidance and reference.

This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
