Based on the information i get, that there are job vacancy for Coal Handling Engineering
Assistant in your company. I send this application letter because i am highly interested to join
at your company and seek for new opportunities and expand my experience. I hope with my

As a brief introduction my name is Josua Giro Pasaribu, i am 21 years old male and a fresh
graduate from Geophysical Engineering Universitas Pembangunan Nasional ”Veteran”
Yogyakart. I’m an engineer with robust problem solving skills, decision maker and making
priority scale. I’m a person who interested to learn new things, accept a new challenge and
capable to lead and work in a team or work individually. For me the way to achieve the best
result in work is do not fear, do not be dismayed, be responsible and perseverance.

I was an internship as geophysicist in Pusat Sumber Daya Mineral Batubara dan Panas Bumi
at mineral department. My responsibility is to know how mineral distribution on subsurface
by various aspects. In addition, i also have to process the data so that the results are
maximized. I was also a geomagnetic laboratory assistant for 2 semesters. Through this work
experience, i learned to value time, appreciate the process, be honest and be responsible to all
of my job that i have got. Learn to conform with duty and job is the one of important thing
that i get.

My organizational experiences is as a President of Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Kristen UPN

“Veteran” Yogyakarta, Staff of Facilities and Infrastructure Division of Unit Kegiatan
Mahasiswa Kristen UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, Staff of Human Resource Development of
Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and Staff of External Division of
Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Geofisika UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. My organizational
experience give me skills to make a decision quickly and appropriately. I also able to expand
my communication skills and to decide attitude in a condition.
