1. Communication

Communication
Communication is the process of sharing thoughts, and ideas as well as questions And answers
with other peers.

Examples of ways teachers communicate with students:

1. Twitter

Twitter
What is Twitter?

Twitter is a commonly used social platform used to communicate with other users by
posting or interact via direct message.

How do teachers use this platform?

Teachers use this by having a class set hashtag, using direct message if any students have
questions on assignments, and post status updates regarding assignments or classroom
activities.

What is edmodo?

Edmodo is a commonly used platform among teachers. Teachers and students can make
public posts and submit assignments,

How do teachers use this platform?

Teachers use this to create assignments, quizzes, and make update announcements
that students can be notified on. They can also comment on other student’s ideas and
questions.

This can be located at edmodo.com and also has an app, both are free of cost
Collaboration

Collaboration is the act of working together as a team by sharing ideas in


order to reach a common goal.
Examples of collaboration

Canvas is a platform used to communicate and collaborate with other
students and teachers.
How would it be used for collaboration?
Students can post their assignments in a discussion thread and get
feedback from other students as well as their different ideas to improve the
assignment.

What is google classroom?


Google classroom is a way to post assignments and gain feedback from
other students. Teachers can use it to give students feedback, and allow
students to work together on assignments.
This platform is free to use as an app in google.
Critical thinking
Critical thinking is a way to look and think about problems in a new way.

Examples of critical thinking

Youtube is a very popular way of learning and getting different opinions on topics.

How would a teacher use this for critical thinking?

This would allow the teacher to give a different thought and opinion that was not the
same as their own as well as different from the student’s thoughts.

Creativity
Creativity is a way for students to have a new and interesting approach to getting
assignments done.

Examples of creativity

WHAT IS PREZI?

Prezi is a website used to create slideshow presentations in a new and creative way. There
are different themes that you can use, as well as having the slides move in different ways.

How will a teacher use this?

A teacher can recommend this for students to use so that they do not have to stick with
only one type of slide show presentation such as google slides.
Picsart
What is picsart?

Pics art is an app that people can use to edit and rearrange pictures. You can add filters,
stickers, make collages, and look at other people’s pictures that they had created.

How can a teacher use this tool?

Teachers can use this if they have an assignment such as creating a poster for themes, or if
a student is wanting to create their own picture for a slideshow or presentation then they can
create one, then add it in.
