Exams:
Sampling:Samples are taken from the center of the finished part (see Fig. 1,2) and cut
according to templates 59/18 or 59/19 into strips measuring 50 mm wide x 250 mm long. A
total of 5 samples are taken.
DC sampling:Samples are taken from the center of the finished part (see Fig. 3,4) and cut
according to templates 59/18 or 59/19 into strips measuring 50 mm wide x 250 mm long. A
total of 3 samples are taken in the longitudinal direction, 3 samples in the transverse
direction and 3 samples in the diagonal direction.
Sampling LR: Samples are taken from the center of the finished part and cut according to
templates 59/18 or 59/19 into strips measuring 50 mm wide x 250 mm long. A total of 3
samples are taken in the longitudinal direction, 3 samples in the transverse direction.
BMW sampling: Samples are taken from the center of the finished part and cut into strips
measuring 50 mm wide x 250 mm long according to templates 59/18 or 59/19. A total of 5
samples are taken in the longitudinal direction, 5 samples in the transverse direction.
Measurement procedure:
Select and start the decoration program Dekorhaftung, for the LR program Dekorhaftung
Land Rover
Switch on the test system drive unit (ON button on the electronics panel)
Enter the parameters
List the protocol
Set the jaw distance LE
Reset force
Fix sample:
The sample is clamped between the rollers (attachment no. 3) and the lower pliers at a
distance of 30 mm
fabric down and press the Start icon to perform the measurement.
Print the report

Temporary change in the way the stiffness measurement process is controlled in the
finishing lines:
In case of failure of stiffness measurement in the finishing line it is necessary to perform
bending strength measurements once an hour on the finished product. Measurement
performed by an entry control quality officer possibly the head of the laboratory, in the test
laboratory Zwick Z005 measuring device, takes samples according to above instructions, the
numbers of the samples determined from the relevant figures being as follows:
Mercedes ND - samples No.1 and 2 according to picture No.5
Mercedes SD - samples No. 1 and 5 according to Figure No. 6
Audi - samples No. R2 and L2 according to picture no. 7
Damage - samples No. 4L and 4R according to Figure No. 8
BMW - samples No. R2 and L2 according to Figure No. 7 (BMW has no specification -
procedure the same as Audi)
The employee performing the test must evaluate the results according to the customer's
specifications (specified in the Control Plans in the retraining tests). If the measurement
results are not satisfactory, the quality manager must be informed immediately and the
QMV13-01 guideline must be followed Management of a nonconforming, reworked, repaired
product.
It also follows the GP-CCM-12 directive and make an entry on form FB090521.
This temporary change must take place until until the stiffness measurement in the finishing
line is functional again.
Measurement procedure:
Select and start the bending measuring program
Switch on the test system drive unit (ON button on the electronics panel)
Enter the parameters
List the protocol
Set the jaw distance LE
Reset force
Fix sample:
The sample is inserted between the upper and lower attachment (attachment no. 2) and the
measurement is performed by pressing the Start icon.
Print the report
Save the exam

measuring 50 mm wide and 250 mm long.

Switch on the test system drive unit (ON button on the electronics panel)
Enter the parameters
List the protocol
Set the jaw distance LE
Reset force
Fix sample:
The sample is clamped in the forceps (attachment no. 1) and the measurement is performed
by pressing the Start icon.
Print the report
Save the exam
Result :
The values in the longitudinal and transverse directions are compared with the determined
values for the given type of substance according to the test plans.
The measurement results are compared with the values from the supplier.
Sampling: Take 1 sample in the longitudinal direction and 1 sample in the transverse
direction from each lot. The samples are cut into strips according to templates 59/18 or 59/19
to a size of 50 mm wide and 250 mm long.
Using double-sided adhesive tape, the two strips are attached to each other with foam, with
one strip protruding 0.5 cm on one side.
Measurement procedure:
Select and start the Trennkraft measuring program
Switch on the test system drive unit (ON button on the electronics panel)

Result:

The test results are compared with the values from the supplier.
5. Foam stroke
Sampling: Take 3 samples in the longitudinal direction and 3 samples in the transverse
direction. Samples taken are cut using template 59/15 (59/38).
Measurement procedure:
Select and start the foam stroke measurement program
Switch on the test system drive unit (ON button on the electronics panel)
Enter the parameters
List the protocol
Set the jaw distance LE
Reset force
Fix sample:
The sample is clamped in the forceps (attachment no. 1) and the measurement is performed
by pressing the Start icon.
Print the report
Save the exam

6. Foam pressure
Measurement procedure:
Select and start the Foam Pressure measuring program
Switch on the test system drive unit (ON button on the electronics panel)
Enter the parameters
List the protocol
Set the jaw distance LE
Reset force
Fix sample:
The sample is inserted between the upper and lower attachment (attachment no. 4) and the
measurement is performed by pressing the Start icon.
Print the report
Save the exam
Result :
The maximum force is compared with the prescribed values from the supplier.
