Kanye West
Kanye Omari West or Ye, hip-hops most influential artist. Kanye is a
world-renown artist, producer, and fashion designer. Currently,
Kanye is one of the biggest hip-hop artists to ever exist. Ye also
has a very large influence on society and has a large following
behind him. Many would say without Kanye the state of hip-hop/rap
wouldn't be where it's at. Kanye's music has influenced many of the
top artists. To name a few, Kanye has influenced Drake, Lil Uzi
Vert, Travis Scott, and the whole new next generation of rappers.
From producer to rapper to Influencer
Kanye West came into the music business by producing beats, his
beat producing lead him to work with Top artists like Jay Z,
Ludacris, T-pain, and the list continues. Kanye was/is highly
respected as a producer, but never really got to showcase he is
more than that early on. Once Kanye was given the chance to
showcase his musical skills, he immediately skyrocketed. Kanye
lead the 2000's with many musical hits, and the 2010's with even
more musical hits. His work currently is looked back at as some
of the best hip-hop/rap to ever be created by many. His musical
work was unique and different compared to other musicians at the
time. Due to his music being unique, it affected the overall
hip-hop and rap game even till this day.
Kanye’s Discography
Kanye West has a total of 9 Studio Released Albums. Albums such as The College
Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted
Fantasy, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo, Ye, Jesus Is King, and his upcoming album Donda.
Kanye also has two communitarian studio collections, one assemblage collection, two
live collections, one video collection, and four mixtapes. Kanye has sold over 21
million collections and over 100 million computerized downloads worldwide. All of
his work has been praised and is used to influence many musicians and fans.
Kanye’s Audience
Kanye’s fanbase is a strong one, Kanye fans are very supportive and ride
hard for him. His fanbase is mostly made of Young Adults and Adults.
Kanye's fans have helped him maintain his relevance to this day, they do
this by showing endless support for his musical projects. Even when
Kanye's work isn't as great as his past work they still support it.
Kanye's fans also support Kanye with non-music-related things such as his
Clothing Brand " Yeezy". Die-hard Kanye's fans have even go to the extent
of voting for Kanye in the 2020 Presidential Election. Kanye didn't win
in the end but the fact Kanye Fans surprisingly voted for him. This shows
how much his fan base supports him.
Kanye bigger than just music
Kanye has expanded his overall horizons beyond music, Kanye
owns his brand partnered with Adidas called “Yeezy” which is
estimated worth is 1.3 billion dollars, with that being said
Kanye has used his musical output to further his success.
Currently, Yeezy is basically known by every young adult and
plenty even own something Yeezy-related.He also attempted to
run for the 2020 presidential election.
