I. OBJECTIVES 1. Describe the nature of the dance.


2. Execute properly the 5 fundamental dance steps both arms and
feet in 2/4 and ¾ time signatures.
3. Create their own dance routine using the 5 fundamental dance
position both arms and feet.
4. Appreciate and value solely the significance of dancing in one’s
lifestyle.

IV. PROCEDURES Note: KRA 1 Objective #2
Zoom Conderence and video recorder will be used the entire lesson for the
students who were not able to join the face to face class.

A. Introduction Short Exercise Video ( Zumba )

B. Development 1. Video Clip Presentation (Folk Dance)


2. Video Analysis
Subject Integration: Filipino & Aral Pan (COT Objective #1)

C. Engagement 1. Teach the students the 5 fundamental steps in dancing for both arms and
feet.
2. Execution of the 5 fundamental dance positions in both arms and feet
using the ¾ and 2/4 time signature folk dance music.

Note: (COT Objective #2 & KRA 2 Objective #4)


Jose who is lame and unable to stand and walk on his own will be performing
the dance routine with his hands.

GROUP PERFORMANCE
The students will create their own dance routine using the the 5 fundamental
steps in both arms and legs using ¾ or 2/4 time signature music.

After the performance the students will answer the following questions:
1. Did you enjoy your performance?
2. What can you say about each other’s group performance?

1. Do you think dancing is a good or bad use of one’s free time?
2. How do you justify the importance of dancing in our lifestyle specially
this time of pandemic?
