Organization: Fatima memorial hospital

Objective: To assess the organizational structure also draw it.

Introduction:
My name is amber maqsood. I am student of post RN 2nd year in Saida waheed FMH college of
nursing. I was appointed in peads surgery ward for clinical of management under guidance of
nursing instructor madam Shela.

Organizational structure:
A social unit of people that is structured and managed to meet a need or to pursue collective goals. All
organizations have a management structure that determines relationship between different actives and
members and sub-divides and assigns responsibilities and authority to carry out different tasks
organizations are open systems they affect and affected by their environment.

Here by introduced organizational structure such as task allocation coordination and supervision
are directed toward the achievement viewing class of their organization and its environment.

Description:
On a Second day we all gathered in Fatima memorial hospital. A per conference held, in which
we were assigned our objective and towards the DDCN’s office then introduced themselves
madam Shehnaz Akhter well ‘explain of organizational structure of Fatima memorial hospital
and provide the hard copy of organizational structure. After collection our desired information
we headed towards the nursing class room of Ortho unit’ post conference done with madam
Shela and discussed our observed points. We cleared our objective and enhanced the knowledge
about organizational structure.

Conclusion:
Finally we learnt the organizational structure is foundation of what bring their job design, task
employee relation, efficacy in a visual and interactive map of organization.

Mission statement and vision statement.

Organization:
Fatima memorial hospital.

Introduction:
Every organization has mission to fulfill the goals and vision to be at the higher level of
achievement.

Description:
Fatima memorial hospital is 510 bedded hospitals and a teaching hospital.lt has a mission
statement and a vision statement. We lead vision and mission statement of the hospital and
understand that reflect the goals and services provided in present and future.

Mission: “To provide quality healthcare without discrimination to patients from all walks of
life, health care with compassion for all, to provide professional and personalized healthcare
services to the needy and the sick patients”

Vision: “Quality health care and research-based education for all leading to integrated socio-
economic community development, to be the region’s leader by providing quality healthcare
services. Medicine of the highest order and set the standard for compassion and innovation,
always placing patients and their families first”

Philosophy: The philosophy of functioning of Fatima memorial hospital is cross subsidization


where funds generated from affording patients are utilized for the benefit of underprivileged and
indigents. Today FMH stands committed to provide quality healthcare services to all categories
of patients disregarding means to pay.
Conclusion:
We learn about the mission and vision statement and learn how to write. We improve the
well-being of patients and communities by delivering innovative, compassionate, patient-and
family-centered health care, enriched by education, science, and technology. It was overall very
informative and fruit full learning session. After achieved our objective we handed towards our
home at 6pm.

Objectives:
Integrate knowledge of principles in planning and implementation patient care in clinical

setting.
Organization:
Fatima memorial hospital

Introduction:
Here by the introduced the understanding of hospital policy, having clear fellow-up
plan, admission and discharge, instruction for the patient, knowledge and understanding of
medical treatment. Providing special training to clinical via program about hospital services.

To assess the level of patient management by the health care providers and to ensure the
minimum risk of infection and trauma during the treatment. It can be evaluate by keen
observation.

Detail:
For the evidence based practice and observation that integrate knowledge of principle to

implementing the patients.

In the third day of clinical we went to hospital peads ICU to observe and assess the integrate

services or achieve the objective, regarding principles of planning and implementing the

integrating in clinical setting area. Our group were notice regarding reception counter, triage

area and nursing counter, doctor counter which all were deal the patients in clinical setting. They

also provide the standard operative protocols folder for nursing management and to chance the

nursing skills. We observed some points which were using for guidance the patients. There we

watch and observe how the patient assessed with any illness and implementation occurs the

planned treatment. We assess how care provided to the clients.

1. Information desk for help the patients.

2. Reception desk for entrance the patient data like a registration of patient.
3. Triage, which is the process ensure that the patient were seen in accordance with the

acuity their sign and symptoms.

4. Patient intervention by staff and doctor which were decided for treatment.

5. After treatment patient assessment evaluate for discharge if treatment had more than four

hour then plan for admission according to hospital policy.

Conclusion:
Finally that day were learnt and obverted the patient management according to

organization, principles in clinical setting areas. Any well managed Peads ICU show how the

others department of the hospital are managed. A knowledge full and trained employee proves

helpful for the patient. After achieved the objectives we headed towards home at 6pm.

Objectives:
Orientation day

Introduction
To introduce oneself to some one other or opinion about you depend on how you
introduce yourself to them. If you manage to create a good impact of your personality through a
good introduction of yourself. Remember having a good social cycle is very important and you
can learn good communication. You can gain confidence and don’t be scared.

Description:
On 16th July at 3pm we all were reached in Fatima memorial Hospital for clinical practice
doing with our teacher madam Shela. We meet nursing superintend madam Shehnaz Akhter and
we were all introduce to our self and explained our objectives. Madam Shehnaz was explained
about organization of Fatima memorial hospital and advised some instruction for clinical work.
Our teacher Madam Shela sighed letter for clinical by madam shehnaz. She was allowed to 32
students or clinical in evening shift.

A preconference held in evening supervisor office and all students assigned in different
departments. Our group of students assigned in Peads surgery ward. Madam Shela was allocated
all the students and oriented the departments of Fatima memorial hospital.

Conclusion:
Finally we explained our objectives and joined the clinical practice we learnt about self
introduction. We should clear idea about our self and our objectives task. The opportunity to
show that you have covered all the points you made in your introduction. After that we move
back home at 6pm.

Summary:
In first week of clinical I learn to assess organizational structure. Learn how to write the

Vision and mission statement and clear the concept of vision and mission statement,

quality policy of organization along with their hard copies and also enhance the knowledge about

patient care principles of planning and implementation in clinical setting management.

Get knowledge about the infection control team of hospital.

It was over all very informative and fruitful learning session. I had learnt a lot from the manager

and staff nurses performing excellent work.
