 Activity.

1. Students will read an article containing a text and a video and will express their

point of view on this matter in the forum. This is the article:

R. My point of view in front of the article “crushes the soul” of a hungry polar

bear exposes the climate crisis, expert say.

For many years, global warming has been given reason and as time passes we

can realize that each day the arctic fauna is becoming more in crisis, due to great

changes in climate, hunting for its own food and even hunting for one of the

most important arctic animals, taking to the extreme large amounts of polar bear

deaths and that we and large business industries continue to pollute every day.

For me thinking about climate change and the new generations that are on the

way, the correct thing would be to fine the first and largest polluting companies,

and also the people who continue to generate pollution in the environment,

because this is going to reach a point where we will be as affected as the fauna,
2. All group members will participate in the forum by giving their opinion on the

article and the video and will make comments on the participation of others.

Overall, students must participate at least 3 times in the forum.

3. Once you have done this, you will write a formal letter to a company you

consider is contributing to the pollution of the earth and you will express your

opinion and make a demand to them.

I am writing to you to inform you that to date they are one of the Anglo – Dutch

hydrocarbon companies that has interests in the oil and natural gas sectors, as well as

gasoline refining. It is one of the largest multinationals in the world, and one of the

four largest in the oil sector and as well as they are recognized for that.

Unfortunately, they are also recognized for being one of the largest polluting

companies due to the processes they carry out to have their product.

Together with my colleagues, we would appreciate that these levels of contamination

had more of your attention so that in the future we would not he harmed by this, both

the fauna and flora that have no voice like we the people.

I await your response and a resolution to my problem i will wait until 14-04-21
