• One Feature is the ability to create a class story. This is a private way to share photos of different
events, videos of what may b e happening in the classroom including lesson plans and sharing files as
well. Students are also able to engage and comment on the class story.
• Create and “Event” by setting reminders for “assemblies and video meetings” such as Zoom info nights
for parents. This is so families are informed and are reminded about these events so that they attend.
This way everyone is connected.
• With this app you as an instructor get to stay connected with the parents and show them what their
children have been learning that day. This allows the parents to feel that they are apart of a community
and not that they are just being informed. You can also turn on parent student comments so that both
the students and their parents are able to share and communicate.
• When you share something with a parent you can turn read receipts on which allows you to see if they
have viewed your message.
• The messaging feature on ClassDojo includes automatic translation so that no matter what language
you speak language is never a barrier. As well as sharing files for parents and students and the
scheduling feature to set up reminders.

of your posts to see who is staying in the loop.
• There are multiple different creative upload tools that include pictures, videos, files, drawings, and
journals.
• Students can express themselves by using the voice notes, captions, annotations, and drawings.
• You can decide how you want your students to reply to you such as when you post a video lesson
you are able to turn commenting so the students can engage in the lesson. You can also make sure
they are on track when remote learning is occurring.
• The app provides a customizable feedback option so that you can give positive feedback in order to
encourage skills and self- reflection for the students. As a reinforcement you are able to reward
points for positive behavior.
