Q3. (a) The open-loop gain of a certain Op-Amp is 200,000. Its common mode gain is 0.16. Determine the CMRR in
decibels. [2]
(b) An Op-Amp datasheet specifies CMRR of 300,000 and Aol of 90,000. What is common-mode gain? [2]
(c) Determine the bias current, IBIAS, if the input currents to an Op-Amp are 8.3μA and 7.9μA. [2]
(d) Calculate the input offset current in part (c). [2]
(e) Figure 3 shows the output voltage of an op-amp in response to a step input. What is the slew rate? [2]

(b) Find the inverting and noninverting input voltages vn and vp (in millivolts) if vg = 1V. [2]
(c) Calculate the difference (vp − vn) in microvolts when vg = 1 V. [2]
(d) Find the current drain in picoamperes on the signal source vg when vg = 1V. [2]

is required for bias current, and where should the resistor be placed? If the two input currents after
compensation are 42μA and 40μA, what is the output error voltage? [2]
