Sophocles,Nishitani ,Edwards, Augustine and Iqbal ; are all household names to the
ancient great philosophers and intellectuals that happened to be also writers .though they are by
now all dead ,they have all been involved in a number of great works and discussions that which
at some point proved very crucial to the society (Murray, 46). They all happen to have had some
touch on the topics involving forbearance, destiny, predestination and the spirit of free will. This
writing is a conclusive analysis of these very crucial topics in the views as laid out by all these
philosophers.
Sophocles goes on record to have stated that fate will always come out on top at any time.
He believes that nothing can ever beat fate, it has a way of always winning. He also has a very
candid expression on the issues to do with free will. He says that free will tell if you can take the
opportunities availed as a result of fate.it is the ability to decide on your own way. He states that
the presences of free will in the nature guided the universe. That his destiny was entirely
Iqbal being one of the ancient philosophers and an intellect, he had a lot to do with
literature writings that through which he was able to express his view on fatalism, destiny,
predestination and the free will (Boodts, & Anthony, 177).all these views were majorly
expressed in a more scholastic manner. It’s believed to Iqbal, all this happenings related to one

did matter to both the possibility of fatalism, destiny, predestination and the spirit of free will.as
he believes that with proper packing you are able to increase the quality and in the same process
Augustine; being one the most unmatched catholic cleric and a philosopher he had so
much towards the strengthening of the white’s philosophy (Al-Azhari, & Muhammad, 101). His
perspectives on the fatalism, destiny, free will and predestination are all defined in religious
perspective. He had a strong and unwinding believe in the utmost being that led to the happening
of everything. He believed that destiny and predestination were all under control of the almighty.
In conclusion it’s more logical to settle on Edwards thinking which calls that everything
is well determined by the effort exerted by an individual .it’s more really as it has been proven
