Dear Future self,

I am writing this letter to predict what I will be doing within the next ten years. No one
knows exactly what the future holds for us. However it is nice to get a good idea of what it could
hold. In the one year I plan on going to Los Lunas, NM to take care of my grandparents for a
while. I don’t exactly know for how long but I’m guessing it would be anywhere from six to eight
months. After that I plan on becoming a Wireman or a Pipefitter. By then I should know which
one I would want to do but as for me today I am still undecided. After I decide what I am going
to be I would have to take a few classes for a few months to learn to do the job. I am estimating
it will take about the rest of the year. So like four to five months. For the next two to three years I
don't exactly imagine doing anything else but working.
By year four I am hoping to find someone that I would like to spend the rest of my life
with. I plan on at least being with this person for two to three years before I actually propose.
Unless they would like to do it. It doesn't matter to me. During those two to three years I hope
that It will be about the time I would get a raise in my job and move up the food chain. In year
seven I am thinking that it would be when I actually get married but I don't know how much time
they would want to plan for the wedding. In years eight and nine I don't plan on doing anything
special. Just continue working and spend time with my wife. For year ten I would like to have
my first kid. I don't know if that will happen in my plans. Knowing life it could be within a year
after the wedding. Besides that I will just continue spending time with my family and continue to
work and keep trying to climb up the ladder.

Sincerely,
Daniel Lujan
