Plastic Pump – Leaking Precautions

1. Pls check and tighten all bolts and nuts before running the pump.
# Bolts and nuts might be loosen during transportation, installation,
temperature change, etc.

2. Check the bolts and nuts periodically and tighten loosened bolts
and nuts
# Bolts and nuts might be loosen again during pump operation, under
pressure, vibration, ambient temperature change, etc.

Standard Bolt Tightening Torque For Diaphragm Pumps (Plastic Materials)

0.25” - 8NM (all bolts)
0.5” - 15NM (all bolts except air valve side is 5NM)
1” - 20NM (all bolts except air valve side is 15NM)
1.5” - 20NM (all bolts except air valve side is 15NM)
2” - 35NM (all bolts except air valve side is 20NM)
3” - 35NM (all bolts except air valve side is 20NM)
