1. DEVOTION was defined by Miriam Webster as a feeling of strong love an or loyalty; the quality of
being devoted.

How did David showed his devotion to God in his battle with Goliath?

 David shows his devotion to God in his battle with Goliath by fighting without fear. He came
against Goliath in the name of the Lord. With David's strong love and loyalty to God, he
defeated Goliath. David believes in God, and God was there when David needed Him, just like
how God rescued David from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear. The Lord helped
David do things he usually isn’t capable of doing.

2. Like David, all of us are also facing “giants” in our lives. Can you identify your own giants? After
identifying them, what did you do in order to overcome them?

 Giants that I face in my life

 Stress
 Anxiety
 Depression

 How I deal with these Giants

 In dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression, I allow time with myself, take opportunities and
challenge myself. I bond with my family, friends, and especially God. I take time out in relaxing
and reflecting myself. I positively change my perceptions in life and simply working smarter not
harder.
