 Hand- in- hand with the first duty I mentioned.
 Maintenance Electrician are responsible for analyzing results ( irregularities)
 Maintenance team members adhere to the documentation procedure.
Diagram root cause of Electrical Malfunction
 Maintenance Electrician are responsible for using deductive reasoning to figure out the root
cause of electrical malfunction.
 Repairing the problem.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plan
 Maintenance Electrician are responsible for developing and maintaining this plan.
 Creating standard maintenance procedure and logbook for equipment and machinery.
Install and Repair Cables Wiring
 Requires manual installing electrical cables.
 Wiring precise use of power hand tools.
 Requires expert knowledge of the specific electrical system under repair.

Job Context
Maintenance Electricians are shift workers. Some workers 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but mid shifts and
graveyard shifts(between midnight until 8:00 a.m.) are not uncommon. According to the National
Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for maintenance electricians is set to rise 14% through 2024.

 Ability to accomplish goals and meet deadlines

Compensation Information
According to the Bureau of Local Employment, in the Philippines, an Electricians entry level salary
ranges from 8,000-12,000 pesos per month for those highly trained and experienced. Overseas,
such as in the U.S. and Canada, the annual average salary for an Electrician is $30,378 or $2,531
per month.
