BOOK REVIEW: Doomsday Conspiracy- Sidney Sheldon.

This book, like most other books written by Sidney Sheldon, which I've come across,
keeps the reader engrossed within it to the very end.
It's uncanny and unflinching manner of suspense, encapsulated within love and
betrayal would leave you thrilled to the very last page.

The book centers on a young military Commander, Robert Bellamy, who survived a
severe crash during an air raid.
Saved by the persistence and hopefulness of a beautiful nurse, Susan. The pair
begin a love story, together.

Bellamy, however, due to his renowned intelligence and wit, is contacted by a group
of notorious and powerful men, who consensually used him through powerful channels
to execute their arcane plans, resulting in the loss of the lives of about 10
people of diverse backgrounds(Unknown to him).

This carefully calculated plan of theirs also results in the loss of his beautiful
marriage union with Susan.

Bellamy, however, after executing the vicious devises of these men, and becoming
aware of the damage that has been caused through him, became the primal target of
the group, who decided that he knew too much to be left alive.

In a bid to keep alive and expose the obscure activities of the group, Commander
Robert Bellamy encounters betrayal from close friends and acquaintances, crossing
by numerous hurdles and situations and making creative decisions in the helms of
time and the supernatural.

The book is indeed worth a read, and I recommend it to those whose minds hunger for
the taste of suspense.
