Product Description
Flextra® SBA9000 and SBA9750 are a Typical Film Structures
solvent-based two component polyurethane • Printed and unprinted, transparent, metallized
adhesive, with excellent bond strength and and aluminum foil containing triplex structures
good heat and chemical resistance. • Aluminum foil, polyester, coated cello, nylon,
polyethylene, oriented and cast polypropylene

Flextra® SBA9000 must first be diluted with solvent. Add Flextra® SBA9750 while stirring. Use
Flextra® SBA9750 from unopened containers.

Diluents Suitable solvents are ethyl acetate (polyurethane grade) and acetone (polyurethane grade).

Pan Life A fresh mix should be made every eight hours.

Drying A web exit temperature of 122°F - 149°F (50 - 65°C) with sufficient air volume is usually adequate for
complete solvent removal.

Combining Increased temperature of the nip roller improves wetting and transparency of the laminates. Minimum
nip temperature of 104°F (40°C) is recommended, wit h the maximum temperature dependent on the
type of films.
For olefin films, corona pretreatment is necessary.
Corona pretreatment of polyester and nylon films improves wetting and adhesion.

Cross The cross-linking reaction starts immediately after lamination. Rewinding and slitting are normally

Safety Flextra® SBA9000 + SBA9750 are highly flammable. Store in a cool, dry place.

Storage Flextra® SBA9000 and SBA9750 can be stored for six months after shipping in unopened original
containers. Once opened, the materials should be purged with a dry, inert gas and re-sealed between
uses.

Surface Preparation Stability Disposal

Curing Conditions Anti-Seal Cleanup

To obtain complete cure, it is helpful if
this product is exposed to
temperatures and relative humidity
conditions greater than or equal to
77ºF / 25ºC and 50% RH.
Aromatic adhesives can, under certain
conditions, generate an anti-seal effect in
which typical seal strengths may not be
achieved. All structures should be tested
for anti-seal before commercial orders are
run.
To clean spilled material, allow the material
to cool to room temperature and scrape off
heavy deposits with a putty knife. Any
uncured residue may be wiped clean with
common polyurethane solvent (Ethyl
acetate, MEK). It is recommended that the
adhesive be cleaned before it cures.

LIMITATION OF ACTIONS AND VENUE — Any claim made or action commenced by Purchaser under Fuller’s limited warranty as set forth herein
must be brought within one year from the date of shipment from Fuller to the Purchaser. Purchaser agrees that all disputes arising from Fuller’s sale
of product to Purchaser shall be brought, if at all, in and before a court located in the State of Minnesota, to the exclusion of the courts of any other
state.
CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE — Fuller’s acceptance of Purchaser’s order for this product is expressly conditional on Purchaser’s assent to terms
