I am submitting my application for the elementary teaching position posted on your district website.
My name is Michaela Nunley, and I have completed my Master of Science degree in Education on May
of 2021. My training has given me the knowledge, experience, and skills to execute the duties and
essential functions required for the job in which I am posting.

I have lots of experience with interactions among professionals for example other teachers and faculty
in the schools. I pride myself on having a growth mindset and constantly reflecting on my teaching. In
my teaching I strive to create a positive environment for the students and get them excited for
learning. When planning my lessons, I make sure to include the content the students need to know, a
variety of materials to help the students learn the content, and then appropriate techniques for
delivering the content to the students. Lastly, I make sure to create a classroom community by
establishing rules and expectations but creating lasting relationships with my students.
