1. Garth Ennis is one of the creators (the scriptwriter) of the comic book called
the boys that has been adapted on a series by Amazon.
2. The plot of the series is in the battle of the Boys and the Seven, the most
important battle they going to do is a media war. The goal of the powerless
heroes is to prove that the Seven aren’t that good heroes as they look, and
that without super powers. I did not watch this series.
3. In superheroes movies the heroes are superheroes, on this series the heroes
are ordinary people “Its heroes are regular people” and their job is to take
down a group of superheroes, these are the evil ones “take down and expose
the truth about The Seven”.
4. The fact that everything is based on a media war and corruption, where
people trust on the information that we give them without thinking about it.

5. The problems that are showed off are about corporate corruption of
government, abuse of power and abandonment of ordinary people. In United
states we can easily think about racism and police brutality.
Task:
In the XVIII century, the slavery was a common thing, Americans and politics were
approving using people like objects to do unpleasant tasks and hit or kill them if they
try to escape. After the politics changed this, the same year as the abolition of slavery
the Klux Klux Klan appeared, groups of people killing thousands of blacks. Then the
racial segregation appeared. In 2020 an ordinary looking man discover that he can
travel the time and he’s thinking about all the changes that he can make to help the
world be a better place, but he doesn’t know the limits of his powers or where to
start, is he going to be able to change the future alone? He’s name is Jean-Bastien
and he’s not muscular, got glasses and he’s bald for some reasons, he doesn’t have a
suit but wish him the best for his adventure to beat the naughty racist Americans.
