Relay Identification
Relays are used in the electrical circuits for a variety of Use the following cross references to view the relevant

relatively small current (from the switch) energises the Machine Model and Serial Number
relay coil, this causes internal contacts to open or close

The relays A are located in a fuse box inside the door.
They are seperated into banks. Each relay position in each K 535-60 (3 and 4 speed only) ( T C-17)

Disconnect cables and remove battery. Remove cables
from main starter terminal and solenoid terminal. Using
special tool 825/00410 (and adapter 825/99833 if required)
unscrew three securing nuts and remove starter motor.
Replacement
Replace by reversing the removal sequence.
Assembly
Align crosspin 103-C with the notches in the brake shoes
103-28 before assembling brush carrier and back plate to
motor yoke. Ensure that brushes 103-14A are correctly
located in the insulated brush boxes.
