1.Talk about your favorite singer
Sơn Tùng MTP has been one of the most famous singer – song writer for years. His full name is Nguyễn
Sơn Tùng, he was born in 1994, in Thái Bình city. Sơn Tùng's family discovered his singing ability
when he was two years old. Sơn Tùng MTP started writing and performing her music when he was
eighteen. At the beginning of her career, Sơn tùng MTP wrote Pop songs and left remarkable spotlight
begin to the music lovers, especially teenagers at that time. In 2011, his first single “Cơn mưa ngang
qua” was included in the list of the popular “Songs of the year”. Later, with many songs he realised in
2012-2017 and a lot of awards helped him become the youngest Vietnamese single successful . However
his music will change, I will always support and keep the most memorable songs with me in the future.

2.Talk about your favorite movie

One recent movie that has left a impression on me is the film “Joker”. This is a crime film. “Joker” – a
beautiful name used to call a man who dressed up into clowns to make fun for others on streets.
Althought his job was to bring fun and laughs for people, he always felt sad and depressed. He can earn
little money. Moreover, people looked down on him and children beat him when seeing him on street.
He had to face up with all the bitter thing in life. Until later, he found out that his mom had a mental
illness and everything collapsed. He decided to kill whoever cheated him or looked clown on him. The
film does not have a happy ending, however it shows a dark corner in the picture of the society where
the rich are always right whereas the poor can’t have even a way to go.

3.Talk about your favorite book

As detective books are my all time favourite kind of books, one of the most impressive one that I love is
“detective Conan”. The book was written by Aoyama Gosho in 1994 and become one of the most
succesful comic in his career. The book was a tragedy with dramatic situations going from the beginning
til the end. Detective Conan is about a teenage detective named Shinichi Kudo, who is poisoned by an
evil group called "The Black Organization". The poison was supposed to kill him. However, the poison
instead turned him into a small child. Shinichi adopts a new identity as "Conan Edogawa", under the
pretense that his parents are away and unable to take care of him. As a child, Conan helps to solve
murder cases, while trying to find the evil men who poisoned him, to steal the poison and create an
antidote.I think “ Dective Conan’’ is the most comic books for children who loves to solve mistery.
4.Describe an evening out
One of my most memorable evening out of mine was when I attended a music festival in Hanoi. My
friends and I had been looking forward to this occasion for a long time, and when it started, we
immediately bought the tickets and waited for the show. It was an indie music festival with the attendace
of many famous local artists that we love. We prepared for this from afternoon that day and were among
the people who got there earliest. The show began later than expected a couple of minutes, however the
atmosphere there was fantastic. There were thousands of fans standing like us, which makes the artists
have more powerful performance and lit the stage. That was such a memorable evening out with friends
and I would like to take part in another activity like that again.

5. Describe a person you love
However many people I might meet during my entire life, the one that I love most would always be my
mother. She is really special and I can not imagine what my life would be without her. My mother is
very thin and short with short hair, which helps her look younger than her actual age. My mom works in
a company from 8am to 6pm but she never complains about the hard work. Since I went for university,
she has had to deal with more housework and more stress. However, she always completes her daily
jobs in a perfect way somehow, which has been the reason for my admiration for her til now. Trust me,
your mother would be your supporter all the time, regardless of your failure or uncertain problems in
your life.
6.Describle your favorite teacher
I would like to talk about one of my most beloved teachers in my high school years, Mrs Thu. She
taught English at my class for 3 years and brought us a lot of unforgettable memories. Mrs Thu is a
young talented teacher with a sense of humor which differs her from others. In class, she not only gave
us lessons but also organized numerous games related to English for us to play. We were so happy and
crazy that she stopped giving games after our first year. Moreover, she always tells us stories and
hilarious jokes which help the whole class closer to each other. We all appreciate all these years when
Mrs Thu taught us as they were all lovely memories of our high school years.
7.What’s your favorite subject at university?
At school, university students have a chance to study many subjects necessary for the future, among
which I love to study English the most. Firstly, English is one of the most important factors that all firms
need when hiring employees. A student with an English ability can have a higher chance for a good job
in the future. As a result, being good at this subject can help me to have a bright future. Moreover, with
the constant practice at many skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing skills with teachers
and friends, I will have a chance to improve my confidence as well as making more new friends in the
studying process. This not only helps me become fluent in English but also strengthen my relationships.
Last but not least, I can study English through many means of entertainment such as books or music. As
a result, the way I learn would be much more interesting and brings more fun both at school and at
home.
8.Talk about your English study at HUST
HUST has been known as the best university in the field of science and technology, however its English
classes are also very well- organized and help students a lot during their time here. HUST has classes of
all levels of learners. This gives us the chances to study English as each one has different strength and
capacity of studying the subject. As English has been one of the most important factors in our future
careers, the way that teachers give us detailed lessons brings us a lot of advantages later. Moreover,
HUST has a regular test for everyone and whoever fails the test must take a basic class to improve his
English. Besides setting a TOEIC score as a must to leave school, this principle forces students to focus
on their studying. As a result, we can have a great English along with our academic knowledge of our
major subjects.

Of the 4 seasons in Hanoi, I am most fond of the autumn. This season lasts for about 3 months a year,
from July to October. When walking along streets in Hanoi, we can easily feel the cool breeze with
warm sunlight scattering in every corner. Autumn is the season when flowers bloom slightly and the
special smell of milk flowers spread around the city. Moreover, this time of the year is also the time of
many delicious foods and drinks in Hanoi. We can stop at some food stalls eating hot soups or drinking
egg coffee near a lake. This lovely weather along with many special things of the fall in Hanoi will
definitely make people love the season here.

Today, there are very many job for people to choose. Many people choose jobs not only to earn living
but also to make their dream come true. Personally, After graduated Hust, I would like to become an
engineer.I has leant many things in all year am in university. With my specialized, I will work for Honda
company - a japan group. There are many reasons why I think the work off teachers both interesting and
hopeful. First of all, become an engineer is my dream when I was a little boy.Secondlly, this job helps
me achieve my dream, learn new things, have the best environment to improve myself and get stable
income. To sum up, there are many interest and benefit of teacher. I hope that my passion and attempt
will help me do my dream.
12.Describle your farvourite animal
I am a animal lover, I am keen on all animails, but the animal I love the most is dog. A dog is a domestic
animal. We can see a dog in many families in Vietnam and in streets. The reason why people love dogs:
they are a great keeper, they also shower love on their owners. A person owning a dog gets love and care
from the dog and the dog makes sure that no one harms his or her owner. I love dog because they are
very smart animals. Dogs help me get my energy out when I need to get exercise. I like to play catching
ball with dogs, that they are very fast and funny. A dog surely becomes a part of family. The connection
between dogs and humans is almost electric.
13.Describle your best friend
I am going to talk about Hà, who is one of my closest friends ever. Her Vietnamese full name is L.V.
Hà. She is one year older than me. She comes from Hanoi. We are university classmate and I release we
live next door in Hanoi. I want to talk about H. for several reasons. Firstly, she is very kind. She is

willing to give others a hand and she always stand by me whenever I need help. When we have exam, a
week before, we always come to library to study. She is very smart, she teaches me a lots. Second, She
is a beautiful one, she tall, her hair is short, she likes to color her hair and now she has a red hair. Her
smile is very beautiful. I am so lucky to have a friend like her. So if I had to talk about one of my best
friends, it would have to be H.
14.Describe your favourite clothing items ( T shirts, shoes, jeans, watch,..)
Now I will tell you about one of my favorite clothing items, it is a T-shirt. The T-shirt is in red color,
which is mainly made from cotton, therefore it’s my ideal choice when it comes to hot days, especially
the weather in Vietnam. In the cover of the T-shirt, there is an image of The Battle bands performing in
the concert, one of my favorite bands forever. I received this T-shirt 3 years ago, as my 18th birthday
gift from my best friend. Because at that time, she knew me looking for a T-shirt for the upcoming
vacation with my family, she went to a lot of stores and searched on the Internet to find out the best T-
shirt to give me, which made me very moving. The reason why I like this item is that it’s so practical
and functional. It’s made from cotton so it can absorb sweat effectively in the summer. Moreover,
because it is very light, I can fold it easily and put it in a small area in my luggage whenever I go on a
trip. Especially, my friend is living in the USA now, therefore it is like the connection between my
friend and me. It always reminds me of my friend whenever I see it.
15.Tell about a party you went to
Xuan is my classmate and also my best friend. Last Sunday, she invited me and our friends to her house
to join in her birthday party. The party steated at 7 p,m and when U came, almost friends had been
present. I saw X talking to her friend so I came up and gave her my present. At 8 p.m, the birthday cake
was displayed prominently in the middle of the room. Everyone gathered and sang 'Happy Birthday'
song to X . After that X wished something and blew out the candles. We ate birthday cake and drank
fruit juice. Next we listened to pop music and danced together. The party finished at 10 p.m and I stayed
to the end to help X clean up the mess. For me X’s Birthday party is the most interesting one I've
attended.
16.Describe a souvenir from your hometown or your country
Referred as leaf hat or Nón lá, these are a symbol of VN. It is made with simple natural materials such
as palm leaves and bamboo. However, the process of making it is 100% hand-made and take quite a
long time (5-6 hours) to finish making one. We can by Non la in every market in VN. Non la can be
used as an umbrella during rains and sun protector during summers. It is associated with farmers’ lives
on rice paddies as well as boat men and women. Nowadays, they are still worn frequently by farmers or
used as an accessory when going to festivals and pagodas. Conical hat is a unique Vietnam gift restricted
to only this part of the globle. If a have a Non La, I would love to give it to my E teacher.
17.Describe a gift that you gave someone
The gift I gave to my younger sister recently is the one I would like to talk about. I gave her a teddy bear
recently. It is a huge teddy bear, a white bear, very warm and softy. Just before 3-4 days of her birthday,
I bought the teddy. I felt really great after I gave the gift to my sister. That was an unexplainable
pleasure, amusement, satisfaction that I felt after I saw her bewildering face after she saw the gift. She

was so happy that I felt like that was a perfect gift for her. And after receiving it from me she hugged
me.

18.Tell about what you enjoy doing with your friends at weekends.
At the weekends, I often stay at home and do my homework. But sometime, I go out with my friends.
We often go to Ho Tay or sometimes we have a trip far from Ha Noi, recent we go to Quan Lan island in
Quang Ninh. I often going out with my 5 best friends. We often go to BBQ restaurant or bar, because
after a stress week I think we should go some where to chill. I fell very comfortable with the foods and
my love friends.
