This section has a deeper significance for advanced readers. I have used
variations of four ways of reading each card. These are the four levels;
literal, symbolic, extended and secret. Readers of Tarosophy books will see
these are Kabbalistic levels. To illustrate these four levels, I have used
variations of “is” (literal), “means” (symbolic), “brings” (extended)
and “reveals” (secret); so “The Tree ishealth” is a literal reading,
whereas we could also say “The Tree brings stability” which is an
extended reading. Advanced readers might find insight and inspiration when
experimenting with these four little words for the levels.
