To Whom It May Concern;

With pleasure, I am writing this letter of recommendation for Emily Carreon. I have known Ms.
Carreon for over 5 months in my capacity as her student teacher advisor in my 8th Grade
English classroom at Southeast Polk Junior High School. In this role, I observed Ms. Carreon to
be mature, self-reflective, dedicated, and extremely capable.

Ms. Carreon competently and confidently created and taught two lessons for my classroom. She
led many group discussions and successfully engaged all students. She excels at interweaving
full group technological lessons with one-on-one instructions as needed. After each class, Ms.
Carreon would reflect over her lessons in order to improve, which is a trait all great teachers
share.

Ms. Carreon is respectful to all students and interacts with them wonderfully. She truly cares for
their well being in all aspects and is driven to help them succeed. I was truly impressed with her
classroom management and the relationships she has made in my classroom.

I am very happy that Emily Carreon is choosing education as her profession. I believe that she
has an extremely bright future in this career and would be glad to speak with you further about
Ms. Carreon’s teaching skills.
