The IDX is an institution that plays a role in organizing and providing facilities for the
securities trading system in the Indonesian capital market. In simple terms, the Indonesia
Stock Exchange is a market where long-term securities / securities are traded. BEI / IDX is
the only stock exchange in Indonesia. In general, the stock exchange has 2 roles, namely as a
facilitator and control over the course of securities trading in Indonesia.

namely:

If I am an investor, I want to invest in many things like owning gold, buying property, opening a
savings account, or placing funds on a deposit. Besides that, investing in the capital market is
also one of my wishes as an investor.

the reason is BECAUSE There are two benefits that are generally obtained from the existence of
the capital market, namely as a means or source of funding for companies to develop the
business they run and as a source of additional funds for the community. Investing in the capital
market is very tempting. The return obtained is highest than other investment options. Even
though the level of risk borne is also fairly high, if the risk is high, to invest in the capital market,
of course there are other safe investment options.
