Install hydraulic torque converter assembly (1/2)

1. Push the hydraulic torque converter assembly

stably to the automatic gearbox assembly.

Notice
Oil pump seal
Apply ATF on the oil pump seal before installing
hydraulic torque converter assembly.

converter Prevent the oil pump seal from being damaged when
installing hydraulic torque converter assembly on oil
pump assembly.

(Oil seal is damaged by impeller hub of hydraulic torque

converter)

Install hydraulic torque converter assembly (2/2)

2. Revolve the hydraulic torque converter assembly

smoothly with fingers.

3. Ensure the size “A” between the front end surface of

hydraulic torque converter shell and its assembly
projection.
Reference value of size “A”: 12.4mm

Disassembly steps are contrary to installation ones.

Install input and output revolution speed sensors

smoothly.

Notice

Do not use O-ring repeatedly

Use new parts to replace the O-ring parts of input and
output sensors
(O-ring parts and input and output sensors are supplied
together)
Disassemble gear shift wire bracket assembly first
before installing input and output sensors.
Fixed bolt (2EA)

2. Screw down fixed bolt with a moment of 10-12Nm.

Install assembly of gear shift wire bracket

1. Install assembly of gear shift wire bracket smoothly

Fixed bolt (3EA) 2. Screw down fixed bolt with a moment of 19-23Nm.

Disassembly steps are contrary to installation ones.

Install assembly of oil supply pipe

Eye bolt (2EA) 1. Install washer 2EA at the oil outlet of gearbox shell

smoothly.
2. Install the assembly of oil supply pipe smoothly.
3. Install washer 2EA at the nozzle of oil supply pipe
smoothly.
4. Screw down eye bolt with a moment of 30-45Nm.
5. Screw the fixed bolt on the gearbox shell with a
moment of 19-23Nm.

Notice

Fixed bolt (1EA) Do not use the same washer components repeatedly.
Assembly of oil supply
Replace washer components with new parts.

The center lines of washer, outlet of oil supply pipe and
eye bole should be in a straight line.

Disassembly steps are contrary to installation ones.

Install start interlocking switch

1. Install the assembly of start interlocking switch

Fixed bolt (2EA)
smoothly.
2. Screw fixed bolt (do not screw it down)
3. Adjust the position of “N” gear as needed. (see
the following page)

Notice

Do not use the same fixed bolt repeatedly.

Replace fixed bolt components with new parts.
The center hole of start interlocking switch and the
center line of manual joystick should be in a straight line.

Disassembly steps are contrary to installation ones.

Install manual joystick

Manual joystick 1. Install manual joystick smoothly.

Nut (1EA)
2. Install spring washer smoothly.
3. Screw down the nut of manual joystick with a
moment of 17-21Nm.

Notice

Spring Do not use the same spring washer and nut repeatedly

Adjust start interlocking switch
Fixed bolt (2EA) Manual joystick 1. Install it according to step 3 of “install start
interlocking switch after installing manual
joystick”.

2. Place the manual joystick in "N" gear.
3. Unscrew the fixed bolt of start interlocking switch

and turn on the start interlocking switch to align
