 Remove/install
1 Remove brake linings (6) AR42.10-P-1600W
2 Unscrew bolt (3) and remove right front brake When removing the brake caliper (2) on the
wear sensor electrical connector (S10/2x1) right side of the vehicle.

3 Detach brake hose (5) from brake caliper (2) AR42.10-P-0013V

4 Seal exposed connections immediately using  Record plug *129589009100
suitable stop plugs
5 Unscrew bolts (4) and remove brake caliper When replacing the brake caliper support (1).

6 Remove spring steel sheets (8) from brake Only in the case of a complaint or when

 Measure
7 Check condition of brake linings (6) and
measure degree of wear

If there are problems

Replace brake linings (6) in sets.

8 Check condition of brake disks (7) and
measure degree of wear

If there are problems

Replace brake disks (7) in sets.

9 Check brake caliper (2) and dust boot (11) on If there are problems
brake piston for damage

Replace brake caliper (2).

10 Check boots (9) for damage and correct If there are problems
seating as well as sliding bolts (10) for ease of
movement

Replace boots (9) and sliding bolts (10).

11 Press back brake piston using pusher tool (01)  Resetting device *000589524300
If brake piston is sluggish

Replace brake caliper (2).

12 Clean contact surfaces of brake linings (6) on 
brake caliper (2) and on brake caliper support In the process do not damage the dust boot
(1) (11) on the brake piston. Do not use sharp-
edged or pointed objects.
Otherwise the brake caliper (2) or brake
caliper support (1) will be damaged.
13 Install in the reverse order
