Neuropathic pain

Introduction:
It’s pain that is usually called shooting or burning pain, sometimes it
comes unrelenting and severe or nerve damage, peripheral neuropathy
(one of the examples of neuropathic pain), neuropathic pain Its lesions,
or disease affecting the somatosensory system, and is classified as
central and peripheral.

Causes:
Neuropathic pain usually has no obvious cause but chemotherapy,
alcoholism, diabetes, facial nerve problem, spine surgery, syphilis,
thyroid problems, phantom limb syndrome, vitamin B deficiency, is one
of the common cause, this action demonstrates that neuropathic pain
has nothing to do with muscle injury or skin(only related to nerves),
mainly dysfunctional or injured of the nerve fibers.

Symptoms:
We can identify the person who has neuropathic pain by many
symptoms and here are some of the following.
1. Evoke pain
2. Shooting pain
3. Stabbing pain
4. Burning pain
5. It can be spontaneous or occurring without a trigger
6. Tingling and numbness
7. Chronic sensation of feeling unpleasant or abnormal
8. Difficult of sleeping or resting
9. Emotional problems and difficulty in expressing how you’re
feeling.
To sum up, everything that has been stated recently, these symptoms
are only related without any external cause meaning that it’s not like
inflammatory pain which has an external cause like part of the body
inflammation after surgery.

Treatment:
The first thing we have to identify is the cause of this neuropathic pain,
the particular reason for this circumstance we can easily reduce this
cause-effect, this action demonstrates that we maintained this pain, for
example, if the doctor diagnosed that your neuropathic pain caused by
diabetes he can manage, maintain or maybe eliminate the pain
The most common treatment of neuropathic pain is:
1. Opioid pain medication: this doesn’t only reduce neuropathic pain
it maintains any type of pain.
2. Anti-depressants drugs: it used to maintain the pain
3. Anti-convulsants
4. Nerve block: block the nerve that sends the pain transmission will
help to reduce or eliminate the pain

is difficult for others to grasp exactly how much it can interfere with
daily life, Neuropathic pain is difficult to handle absolutely, but it is
