COVID CARE ADVICE (Home Quarantine)

For mild to moderate patient

1. Medicines

6. Tab Pan 40 Acidity related 7 1 tablet once daily in the
morning empty stomach
7. Tab Montek LC Anti-allergic 5 1 tablet once daily 1 hr after
dinner
8. Tab Calpol/ Crocin/ Dolo Paracetamol 10 1 tablet after meal/ breakfast
650mg* (if fever i.e. temp > 100) upto
4 tablets a day
9. Betadine gargle For gargle 1 bottle 3 – 4 times a day
10. Alex/ Benadryl DR/ For dry cough 1 bottle 10 ml 3 times in a day (if
TusQD cough syrup cough)
11. Ambrodil/ Ascoril cough For productive 1 bottle 10 ml 2 – 3 times a day (if
syrup cough cough with sputum)
12. Tablet Mucinac 600mg For cough 10 1 tablet Twice daily after
(Optional) meals (Dissolve in water)

Please do not take these medicines without proper doctor's consultation.

2. Steam Inhalation – 3 times in a day

3. Pulse Oximeter – Normal oxygen saturation of blood in a healthy individual is 95 – 100%.
Check 4 times in a day. If having trouble of shortness of breath, consult the doctor.
4. Food
i. Take protein rich diet and fruits (avoid cold fruits)
ii. Drink milk with turmeric in night
iii. Have walnut and fig (anjeer) and 2 eggs
iv. Eat fresh and unprocessed food
v. Drink enough water everyday
vi. Eat moderate amount of fat and oil
vii. Eat less salt and sugar
5. Avoid reading and listening more about Covid-19. Be positive
6. Average recovery time is 10-14 days
7. No need for immediate CT scan lungs if patient is fine.
8. Patient having CT value between 25 – 35 is less infectious (refer to RT PCR report).
Less CT value means more infectious.
9. Get your family members tested as well
10. For Speedy Recovery
i. Take plenty of rest
ii. Practice pranayam and do brisk walk around the room

For most people, symptoms last a few days, and people usually feel better after a week.

Seek immediate medical attention if high grade fever/ severe cough for more than 5-7 days
