Explanation

Warning, battery clamp, negative pole

Eject the driver's card before disconnecting the battery clamp from the negative
pole.
To prevent damage to electronic components, never disconnect the battery clamps
when the engine is running.
Switch off the ignition before disconnecting the battery clamp from the negative
pole.

After switching off the ignition, wait at least 80 seconds before

disconnecting the battery clamp from the negative pole.
Non-observance of this waiting time results in clogging of the AdBlue
lines.
Always disconnect the battery clamp from the negative pole before working on the
vehicle.
Do not place any tools or other materials on top of or close to the batteries. This
can cause a short circuit and, in the worst case, a battery explosion.

2. Lift the control switch (2) out of the door panel.
3. Disconnect and remove the control switch (2).

into the door panel.

Checking and adjusting door

To adjust the door using the door hinges,

the door panel must be removed.

1. Check that the size and wedged shape of the

gap between cab and door match the specified
gap size and wedged shape all round. If
necessary, adjust the door using the door
hinges. Hand-tighten the attachment bolts.
2. Look and feel whether there is a smooth
transition between the door and corner section
and between the door and cab roof. If
necessary, adjust the door by moving the door
hinges inwards or outwards. Hand-tighten the
attachment bolts.

3. Check the transition between the door and the

cab at the door handle. If necessary, adjust the
door using the striker plate (1). Loosen the Torx
screws (2) and (3) and move the striker plate.
Tighten the Torx screws (2) to the specified 1

tightening torque.
4. Tighten the hinge attachment bolts to the 3
specified tightening torque.

5. Open the window fully.

6. Close the window.
7. Repeat this procedure for both windows.
8. Contact off and on.
9. Check the functions the door control operating
switch.
