Explanation

Warning, battery clamp, negative pole


Eject the driver's card before disconnecting the battery clamp from the negative
pole.
To prevent damage to electronic components, never disconnect the battery clamps
when the engine is running.
Switch off the ignition before disconnecting the battery clamp from the negative
pole.

After switching off the ignition, wait at least 80 seconds before


disconnecting the battery clamp from the negative pole.
Non-observance of this waiting time results in clogging of the AdBlue
lines.
Always disconnect the battery clamp from the negative pole before working on the
vehicle.
Do not place any tools or other materials on top of or close to the batteries. This
can cause a short circuit and, in the worst case, a battery explosion.

Explanation

Removing electrically controlled window

1. Lower the window so that the attachment bolts


(1) can be reached.
2. Remove the attachment bolts (1).
3. Loosen the window from the window
mechanism.
4. Raise the window to the top.
5. Secure the window in the top position.

If the electrical motor (3) of the


window control mechanism is
defective, the window cannot be
raised or lowered. In this case follow
the instructions below.

6. Secure the window.

Make sure to secure the window


properly, because after the wire is
cut, the window may come down of
its own accord.

7. Cut the wire (4) from the window control


mechanism using cutting pliers.
8. Depending on the position of the window, lower
or raise the window carefully so that the bolts (1) 2
can be loosened.
9. Loosen the window from the window

mechanism.
10. Raise the window to its highest position and
secure the window.

4. Lower the window onto the support of the
window mechanism.
5. Tighten the attachment bolts (1) to the specified
torque.

Installing operating switch, door controls
1. Fit the connector.
2. Install the door control operating switch by
pushing it carefully into the panel.

After a new door control operating


switch has been installed the switch
must be programmed .

3. Connect the battery clamp.


4. Contact on.
5. Open the window fully.
6. Close the window.
7. Repeat this procedure for both windows.
8. Contact off and on.
9. Check the functions the door control operating
switch.
