Lift Control SLC4

Information for the expert

I Subranges of the main card of central unit -AZE0 :

a) Sampler circuit SHK-003
b) Relay output REL-003

1 Set-up
The PCB-subranges SHK-003 and REL-003 are part of the main card of the central unit AZE0 of lift
control SLC4. They may however also be used on other assemblies that are serving the same
purpose. SHK-003 may be connected directly to the safety circuit (SHKr.) of the lift in order to
interrogate the status of the safety circuit contacts. REL-003 contains several relays which, among
other, may operate consumer units connected to the safety circuit.
The basic set-up of the SHKr. is shown in the connecting diagram below. Upstream of the SHKr. a
possibly available lock magnet can be engaged directly by the subrange REL-003. The SHKr.-contacts
(limit switches, door contacts, lock contacts etc.) are directly connected with the SHKr.-interrogation
SHK-003. Downstream of the SHKr.-interrogation the travelling contactors and travelling valves
(hydraulic lift) are engaged via REL-003.
Note:
The travelling contactors and valves must be connected only at the grey wired zero (terminal C6). This
ensures that in case of an interrupted zero conductor no unadmissible bridging of the SHKr. may occur
and, therefore, energy can be securely separated from the main motor, the brake and the travelling
valves.

4 Directives for the functional examination

1. Check the wiring of the safety circuit for sound condition (splicing of litz wires, fault-free isolation...)
2. Open a safety contact upstream the interrogation at terminal C2 ➔ terminals C3 to C5 must
become dead
3. Open a safety contact between the interrogations at terminals C2-C3 ➔ terminals C4 bis C5 must
become dead
4. Open a safety contact between the interrogations at terminals C3-C4 ➔ terminals C4 und C5 must
become dead
5. Open a safety contact between the interrogations at terminals C4-C5 ➔ terminal C5 must become
dead
6. Check the run of the grey wired zero conductor to the travelling contactors etc. at terminal C6 of the
central unit (visual check). The run must correspond with the circuit diagram supplied along with the
lift.

5 Declaration of the manufacturer

Type-examination certificate

Test mark: RB-98A136

Subject of examination/Component: Interrogation circuit and relay outputs

Manufacturer's designation: Subranges REL-003 and SHK-003 on:

1. PC-board AZEO of control SLC4 or
2. PC-board AMC1 of control STA²

Manufacturer/Supplier: Steuerungstechnik Strack

Lieversfeld 8
