The document discusses different types of fingerprint sensors used for security authentication. It focuses on capacitive fingerprint sensors which can save up to 45 fingerprint patterns like arches, loops, and whorls. Capacitive sensors are commonly used in smartphones and can save 5 fingerprints due to security and storage constraints. The document also briefly describes optical, thermal, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors and their advantages and disadvantages. It proposes using a modified capacitive fingerprint sensor button that can store multiple fingerprint patterns and passcodes to improve security over traditional systems.

arch, loop, whorl and due to this type of pattern it makes the security system safer and secure and there are several types of fingerprints system but specifically we are going to use Capacitive Fingerprint sensor so, that it will make the proposed system safer than ever. Below lists the type of sensors used to detect fingerprint patterns. 1. Capacitive Sensors In capacitive sensors the capacitor plate is used to image the fingerprint and with that it saves up to 45 different patterns (like arch, loop, whorl) to lock the fingerprint images and uses the same pattern to unlock but the main problem is that, today it used as a fingerprint sensor in smart phones devices and due to this it can save five different five fingerprint pattern in a smartphone device due on security and other concern. 2. Optical Sensors Optical Sensor takes the optical image, or we can say photograph of a fingerprint pattern and it scans for marks and surfaces from the image and then it authenticates. It simply takes the black and white photograph of your fingerprint and it uses the same image to unlock for access as this sensor is used in commercial use so due to that there no need of advance security. 3. Thermal Sensors Thermal sensors use the pyro-electric material that is used in infrared cameras. It also contains arrayed micro heaters in it and one-dimensional array of sensor elements on a silicon wafer using micromachining technologies. It measures temperature and according to that it worked and unlock for access, but the major disadvantages is that the images captured by the system disappears quickly. 4. Ultra-Sonic Scanner It is the latest fingerprint scanning system which are currently used in Smartphone devices and Snapdragon already accomplish and modelled this technology in their chipset called as Sense ID. It uses both ultrasonic transmitter and receiver to capture the images of fingerprint patterns. Transmitter transmits the ultrasonic pulse to the finger which is placed in a scanner and the receiver receives the pattern and authenticates it. The fingerprint sensor it can be used as a button for passcode and as a fingerprint sensor for security authentication. It also going to less up the physical hardware expenses and it will be cost friendly. In this proposed system. The security system can crack or hack the print pattern or pass code. The design and implementation of fingerprint-based lock system is customizable and flexible. This modified model of capacitive fingerprint sensor button can be used for commercial and vault system to make it more safe and secure with this model and it can be reducing the size of the physical model and it can save much time and it is user-friendly and it will create a profound impact on hackers and crackers because we have set the length of pass code from 4-6 with 10 different fingerprint patterns.
