learning academic which is a subscription based digital education program for the
children of ages 2-8
What are the strengths and weakness of the product/ software to use? Explain? The
strengths about ABC Mouse product is that it has many programs for the students to learn
as well to activities for them. A weakness about the product is that some activates or path
for the students require the parent/teacher help to set it up correctly. As well to sometimes
the game taking a while to load.
Does the software serve its intended purpose which is classroom use? Explain? The
abc mouse product does serve intended purpose for not only the classroom but as well for
homes with providing them education material for the child. In which is the learning path
this program helps, guide the children into educational games and activities.
Are there multiple forms of media( audio, video, and textual communication
channels) that encourage the student to engage with the software? Explain The abc
mouse provides students with different activities as well to subjects. Like Reading books,
watching videos, puzzles songs, printable as well to checking the child progress while
using the app.

The software doesn’t have anything for the children with disabilities

the software of ABC Mouse gives appropriate feedback while a child is playing a game
or doing an activity by not only progressing the child improvement but by giving them a
reward for their completion .

The skills level can only be accessed by a parent or teacher which is protected by a
password.

Score: 5 out of 10. The app overall is amazing and has good activities for the children as
well to you could actually see the child progress and how they’ve improve. But the only
bad thing about it is that it tends to slow down and take a while to load in when playing
games. As well to not having any programs for the disabilities kids.

Provide a brief description of the product/software: Plickers is basically a
revolutionary way to collect instant multiple choice response from students,
without requiring the students to have computers or tablets. A plicker is basically a
printed cared that has a design on the back in which the students are handed and
with the plicker cards they rotate them to indicate which answer they think is
correct then the teacher with their iOS, android phone they scan the students
answer.
What are the strengths and weaknesses of the product/software? The strengths
about this software is that it helps the teacher know in what areas they could help
the students with that they struggle. As well to the students not needing to use
phones and not leaving other students out that don’t have a devices instead you are
using a printed card.
Is the product/software easy for you and the students to use? The product is
easy to use for both the students and teacher. The student’s just need to rotate their
plicker card and the teachers scans them.
Does the software serve its intended purpose, which is classroom use? Explain.
The software does intended its purpose inside the classroom use. The software is to
not only have fun but to help the teacher understand what the student actually
needs help and in what area of the subject it is.

The app of plicker has instruction for the teachers on how to use it as well to where
to go to make an activities for your students.

- No the program doesn’t have any software for the disable children

(assessment)? The program does give appropriate feedback only to the teacher as
well to how the children have improved in their activities.

The skill level can only be adjusted by the teacher cause they are the only ones to
being able to control plicker with the phone.

Score: 8 out 10 I would definitely use this for my classroom so the students don’t
have to use their phones and just pay attention in class with the printed card in
front of them. But overall this software is really good and could come in handy for
the teachers and is fast and fun.
